The Riberebro Group is participating in the NEWPAWER project, a new PAW technology for research into the stabilization of vegetables.

Riberebro Integral S.A.U., Conservas Hijos de Manuel Sánchez Basarte, S.A.U., Eurochamp S.A.T., the University of La Rioja, and the Association for Research, Development and Innovation in the Agri-Food Sector are participating in the NEWPAWER project for the development of a new PAW technology for research into the stabilization of vegetables. This involves researching a new method of food processing, adapted to market demand, which guarantees a long shelf life for vegetables and fungi, while preserving their nutritional and organoleptic qualities.

The action commenced in 2018 and is expected to be completed in 2021. The total budget for the project amounts to €0.9 million and has been financed by: ERDF/Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities – State Research Agency/_Project (RTC-2017-6552-2).
