The Riberebro Group, in collaboration with other technology centers and companies, is participating in two of the initiatives that have obtained funding in the 2015 call: the
NOVAEST (sterilization systems) and CHAMPI-D (fresh mushroom) projects.
The NOVAEST project focuses on the development of a new system for food sterilization. Riberebro Integral S.A. is the coordinating company. The firms Conservas Hijos de Manuel Sánchez Basarte S.A., Eurochamp S.A.T., and the IKA4-Ikerlan and CTIC-CITA technology centers are also participating. It has a global budget of €1,346,558, of which a global loan of €579,792.66 and a global subsidy of €766,764.92 are granted.
This project has been financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
This experimental development project will be carried out until 2018. Through the financing of these and other initiatives, the aim is to stimulate the generation of a critical mass in interdisciplinary R, promote the creation of innovative companies, orient the activity of existing companies towards innovative activity, mobilize private investment, generate employment, and improve the country’s technological balance.
The State Program for R Oriented to the Challenges of Society is part of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016, and is financed through subsidies, loans, and repayable advances charged to the European FEDER funds.
The projects are selected in competitive concurrence. The main objective of these projects is to promote technological development, innovation, and quality research.
The objective of the Retos-Colaboración call is to support projects in cooperation between companies and research organizations, in order to promote the development of new technologies, the business application of novel ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of innovative products and services.
